Key Smart Logbook Features
👤 Entry Classification
Toggle between registering a Guest / Visitor (parents, contractors, suppliers) or students entering for weekend/after-hours Student Practice.
📍 Quick-Tag Chips
One-tap selection chips for common destinations and official purposes:
📸 Face Capture & QR Pass
Aligns the visitor's face inside the camera guide box and generates a Temporary QR Gate Pass for fast scanning upon checkout.
🚪 Active Inside (Manual Out)
Switch to the "Active Inside" tab to view all currently signed-in visitors and manually log their departure if they lose their pass.
How to Log a Visitor & Issue a Gate Pass

Open Smart Logbook
From the Gate Command scanner screen, click the yellow "📋 Smart Logbook" button.

Fill in Visitor Info
Type the visitor's Full Name, then click the appropriate destination (e.g., Registrar's Office) and purpose (e.g., Inquire Requirements).

Align Face & Print QR Pass
Instruct the guest to face the webcam within the dotted frame guide. Click "📸 Capture Face & Print QR Pass". The thermal/receipt printer will issue their badge.

Visitor Departure (Check-out)
When leaving the campus, the visitor scans their temporary QR pass at the gate scanner to timestamp their exit automatically.
